Dora speaks in English and Spanish and while kids play, they’ll love that Dora’s outfit, smartphone, and charm bracelet light up and sparkle. Characters range among Dora, Emma, Alana, Kate, and Naiya, so there’s always someone to talk to, help out, or play songs with. Kids ages 3 and up will love feeling like they have a real phone with real friends to talk to. The more dolls and charms kids collect, the more they can do with the smartphone. The phone comes with one charm that kids place on the phone to hear special phrases, and each Dora & Friends dolls comes with its own charms. I really like the compatibility throughout the line. Dora’s friends will also call the phone, so be sure to answer! In order to keep the conversation going, keep tapping the keypad or press the Map App to hear fun phrases from the show. Dora will respond to the smartphone so they can talk to each other.
Once girls press the flower button on Dora’s dress, they can push down the keypad on the smartphone to begin a call. The smartphone is magical and can be used to call Dora’s friends from the show. With Nick Jr.’s new series, Dora & Friends set to air this August, kids can expect to meet new friends, go on new adventures, and play with tons of new toys! My personal favorite from the Fisher-Price line is the Dora & Friends Talking Dora & Smartphone.
